Sparkling Ginger-Spiced Iced Green Tea Recipe

Yesterday, on my way out the door, I made myself a delicious bottle of iced sencha green tea with ginger and sparkling water. It was the perfect way to keep my happy Spring mood – icy, fizzy, refreshing, and fresh.

For this recipe I used Yu Sencha powder (It was fabulous; however, if you're caffeine sensitive, try Yu Decaf Sencha, it's a fantastic substitute).

Ingredients
- Ice from 24 oz sports bottle, filled ⅔ full
- 2 tsp Yu Sencha
- 8 oz Water, hot
- Sparkling Water
- 2 oz Simple Syrup
- 3 - 6 Pickled Ginger Slices, minced
Directions
- Fill a large (24 oz) sports bottle ⅔ with ice cubes.*
- Add prepared Yu Sencha tea up to the top of the ice.
- Add 2 oz Simple Syrup**
- Fill the container the rest of the way with plain sparkling water.
- Mince pickled ginger; add to drink.***
