A serving of our Ceremonial Grade A matcha has about 185 mg of catechins, including about 122 mg of EGCG, about 28 mg of L-theanine and about 41 mg of caffeine (from our most recent batch testing; results vary by lot and packaging). Caffeine and L-theanine together give matcha its calm, focused energy. Our decaf matcha keeps about 81 mg of EGCG with about 6 mg of caffeine.
