Afternoon Green Tea: A Lighter Lift
A Lighter Lift for the Afternoon
By mid-afternoon, a full cup of coffee can feel like too much. These three teas have less caffeine than our matcha, so you can enjoy a warm cup and still wind down later.
Sencha: Bright and Crisp
Our Organic Sencha has about 15 mg of caffeine a serving, with a fresh, grassy taste and a clean finish.
Hojicha: Toasty and Smooth
Roasting gives Hojicha its warm, nutty aroma and drives off some caffeine, leaving about 17 mg a serving.
Genmaicha: Nutty and Mellow
A good share of our Genmaicha is toasted brown rice, so it has only about 5 mg of caffeine a serving, with a buttered-popcorn toastiness.
Figures are from our most recent batch testing; results vary by lot and packaging. For a side-by-side look, see how much caffeine is in green tea, by type.
